Biography

Dr. Ari Demirjian is in the practice of dermatology since 1992. He is an assistant professor at the faculty of medicine of McGill University. He founded the Private Dermatology Clinic of Montreal which is an official accredited McGill university teaching site.

He received his medical degree from the University of Sherbrooke in 1988. He completed four years of specialty training in dermatology at McGill University in 1992. He obtained a certificate for the use of lasers from Harvard University, Boston, in 1994. For 25 years, Dr. Demirjian was a clinician and teacher at the Montreal General Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital and the University laser center.

Dr Demirjian was a member of the executive committee of the Quebec Association of Dermatologists from 2000-2012 . He is a spokesperson for the sun awareness week of the Canadian Dermatology Association and a member on the medical committee of the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada.

Since January 2006 Dr Demirjian’s practice is private, he is no longer affiliated to the Quebec medicare system.

In 2019, at the forefront of new technologies, Dr Demirjian expanded his services to an online telemedicine / teledermatology platform.
